Are you in need for a proper place to present your portfolio online?
Do you want to impress the next jury of whatever art prize you applied for?
Are you sick of the monolithic internet, fenced in by but a few apps and designs dictated by ready-made templates and misguided trends?
Do you yearn for the days when browsing websites was a fun and enriching experience?
Portfolio website? Easy. A Platform for you project or business? Can do! (I don’t do online shops though). A simple landing page to direct people to your mail contact info? Consider it done!
“But Farni, I can do my website with cool website builders like Vix or Schmargo, Squarepants even. I don’t need you, nor programming. You’ve been replaced by easy-to-use browser applications”
Sure, you can use those. Do you also buy your art at Scandinavian furniture stores? Using these fancy website builders you might cut out the middleman (me) but by doing so you make space for all kinds of trackers, scripts and cookies of who knows whose third parties.
We could be talking business right now.I on the other hand am a strict website dad and keep my sons on a no-cookie diet (except when mandatory for you desired use case/design). I feed them only organic, handmade code and open source scripts. I breed them using Kirby CMS, which you will find much more enjoyable and easier to use than your average overloaded WordMess dashboard. I also know P5.js and can help you manifesting whatever artistic interactive online vision you have.
But apart from that I’m just a little guy, doing honest work, good clean fun. If you’re looking for someone that can do all those fancy JavaScript frameworks then you might need search somewhere else (except when you pay me to learn it!) .
My talk might seem cheap but wait till you see my rates!I’m your local small-scale farmer raising free roaming websites. But unlike real life farmers I try to keep my produce bullshit free, while also keeping it accessible to the best of my knowledge. I can offer basic accessibility settings (Font size options, contrast enabling, Element highlighting) and try my very best to create code with screen readers in mind. Be aware though that I’m still in a learning process regarding latter but let’s grow together!
Join the flock.Don’t ask what web developers can do for you, ask what you can do for me (answer: hire me).
Convinced?

All the best
